Full Job Description:
The Electrical Administrator plays a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical operations within Sunset Air. This position ensures that all electrical projects, including HVAC and solar installations, are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The Electrical Administrator is responsible for project management, safety compliance, technical support, documentation, and team leadership, with a strong emphasis on experience in telecommunication services to support the integration of advanced communication systems within the projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage electrical projects related to HVAC, solar installations, and telecommunication systems.
- Ensure all projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Work directly with project managers, engineers, and electricians to develop detailed project plans.
- Ensure all electrical work adheres to local, state, and national electric codes and standards.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation crews, including telecommunication systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical and telecommunication issues in collaboration with the Electrical Foreman.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in the electrical, HVAC, solar, and telecommunication industries.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical and telecommunication work, including blueprints and project documentation.
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are obtained and current.
- Supervise the Electrical Scheduler and ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely manner with tailored solutions.
- Address and resolve customer concerns and/or issues with electrical and telecommunication installations.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid O1 Electrical Administrator License.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, with a preferred focus on HVAC, Solar, and telecommunication services.
- Strong creative direction skills – ability to provide clear, strategic direction and constructive feedback to a team.
- Highly effective team member: open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement, deliverables, and communication.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, safety regulations, and telecommunication systems.
- A track record of critical thinking and problem-solving, using sound judgment to make decisions.
- Proficiency with electrical design and diagnostic software.
- Ability to represent Sunset Air in the highest level of professionalism.
- Capable of effectively working with a variety of personalities.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
